Mazars established its presence in Russia in 1995 through a merger with the Russian Audit agency "Veta", which gave birth to the "Veta-Mazars" office in Moscow.
Back then, the Russian market economy was being developed following the dissolution of the Union of Soviet Social Republics. Russia was going through a wide range of reforms, including privatization and market and trade liberalization, opening the market to international players.
Mazars accompanied its European clients willing to benefit from this market opening and supported by its challenging spirit and its key values, which are Independency, Diversity, Integrity, Continuity, Responsibility and Respect of Individuals.
